- The crime records management system is accessible through any browser such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc. However, it could not be opened if the users do not access the system through local host.
- The system should operate under local network area but shortage of the hardware such as web server and network configuration causes the system can only work under offline condition. It means the system could not perform certain functions even an internet connection is established.
- Any maintenance of the system will cause the system temporary out of service. Since the requirement analysis does not reach till the administration site for the system being used in the real world, the information about the administration site is limited.
- At the moment, the system analysts had limited the scope of the proposed system. For the future plan, they do not know whether how the interface of the system can integrate with other application or not.
- There are no specific technologies being used in the design and implementation stage unless the system extends itself to criminal record management system. Collecting and analysing fingerprint is not required for the proposed system.
- The system reinforce the security until it reach into a maximum level because if anything happens, the particular crime record may bring challenge in the court. Hence, deletion operation is not implemented to prevent someone to remove a file in the system. Alternatively, for any changes, the reporter has to make another report to correct or update that the previous report.
- The multi-user feature is unavailable in the system at the same time since the system is not operated in the server. It only allows one user to login into the system to perform operation.
- Databases storage may depend on how large the hard disk space available in the computer. XAMPP software may need to be installed in order to run the system in local host connection.
- For implementation stage, the programming language may include HTML, PHP, JavaScript, and other relevant language. The system can only open with browser application.
- Due to the limited budget, the hosted server provided by XAMPP has the limited capability in order to build this system. In the real world, the system may require the licensed server that can provide more secure feature to the system.
